Detective Conan's "FBI Intervention" collection, featuring 12 episodes centered on FBI characters, has arrived on Netflix and Crunchyroll. This marks the third curated selection of episodes from the long-running anime, with these specific installments never before having an official U.S. release.
The newly added episodes include numbers 170-171, 226-227, 258-259, 277-278, 279-280, and 307-308. The series, known as Case Closed in some regions, previously saw its first curated collection, "Conan vs. The Black Organization," and its second, "Rivals of the Great Detective," added to streaming platforms. These new episodes are presented in Japanese with a fresh English dub produced by Studio Nano, distinct from earlier dubs.
The Detective Conan anime, which premiered in January 1996, is currently airing its 1,200th episode. The franchise recently celebrated its 30th anniversary. The original manga by Gōshō Aoyama launched in 1994 and has spawned the ongoing anime series and a successful film franchise, with the 29th movie, Detective Conan: Fallen Angel of the Highway, setting new opening day box office records in Japan.
